Last night I went to the Evening Standard mayoral debate with Boris Johnson. It was a really passionate affair, and I thought Boris performed particularly well. He was extremely agreeable, had some great ideas for London and was specifically great when questioned about his racial views. It is increasingly aware that Ken Livingstone has abused his position of authority and London isn’t particularly a great city right now, so Boris offers a great alternative…a charismatic individual who strikes a cord with the public.
