  1. The Facebook story is so obviously a PR story. Whislt i am not criticising it at all (ok i do a bit later) – it’s got excellent coverage so far in the papers and rides on the Facebook boom brilliantly it’s interesting that the BBC reports that “About 80,000 people in the UK were victims of identity theft last year, at a cost to the economy of £1.5bn.” but does not mention how many are caused by facebook (i.e. none).

    I’m not sure who is representing Equifax but they could have made the story (which indeed it is) much sexier.

  2. The beeb has a habit of reporting the obvious, I guess it is for all the Lehmanns out there.
