My new TV viewing is Dexter. A forensic scientist living in Miami who is a serial killer of serial killers. It doesn’t get much better so please watch.

I’ve noticed that for some reason I tend to blog more when it is better weather outside…perhaps there is a study in there somewhere? It probably wouldn’t be that interesting though.

I came across a fascinating article on why countries like Cameroon continue to be poor. Effectively it boils down to people doing things for themselves rather than others…it is a simple human trait and it continues to plague us and always will.

Also, here was perhaps the most obvious headline ever.

What does everyone think about Britain failing to make the top 15 prosperous countries in the world? Developments like those in recent weeks must be having an effect on people. There have been better times to be British, or a tory for that matter.

Will constitutional change bring back trust into UK politics? I must admit I’ve been surprised by Gordon Brown’s few days in charge. However from the past I know it’s unlikely to continue being rosy, and we’ll pay the price.

Doom and gloom, please let the weather change.
