Right we’ve decided to bite the bullet and create a Facebook group for the folk that have a digital PR role for consultancies. If you perform such a role (and/or you blog on behalf of an agency) please get in touch and I’ll invite you to the group. Remember we are an exclusive club. Well done J Ho for this initiative.

I can’t say I know much about Nick Boles, the Conservative Party’s candidate for London Mayor, and I’m sure most people in the capital are in the same boat. The party needs to start pushing out his agenda ASAP, if we stand any chance preventing Red Ken from any more years in office. Iain Dale has reported on one of his first policy points, I’ll be interested to find out anyone’s thoughts…that’s if you care.

Personally I would have liked to have seen one of the big Tory players fight Ken for London, it hasn’t happened so now I’d like to see a bit more of Nick Boles and what he stands for. Like DC’s policies I guess this will come with time.
It is an interesting point (raised in the comments section of Iain’s blog post) that Nick Boles has announced his Social Entrepreneurship idea the same day of David Cameron’s big speech, perhaps it is a sign that the Tories aren’t taking the London Mayor race too seriously, or perhaps they want to battle on many a front. Cameron’s speech has generally been well received, as highlighted by Conservative Home.

As a footnote it’s great to see that London is now the second most expensive city to live in the world. As the Labour party is to blame for our country’s shortcomings over the last ten years, it is obvious that Ken is at fault for this ;)

The BBC is often being accused of breaking impartiality rules, there is definitely an argument in my opinion…simply watch BBC Breakfast News on BBC1 every weekday morning. Anyway The Guardian has produced an article of a few examples of where the BBC have strayed. If you are after some impartial news I suggest going to Webcameron, in my opinion it’s about as impartial as it gets.
