Fresh blogger and friend, Andrew Copeman, has done a posting on his top five heroes of all time – Roy Keane, Grace Darling, Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones, Jamie Oliver and Danny Wallace. I thought I would follow suit so here are mine…

5. Vinnie Jones – The Wimbledon FC legend and future Oscar winning actor

4. Arnold Schwarzenegger – A rubbish politician but the most iconic actor of his generation

3. Jack Bauer – Fictional but the greatest ever legend to grace our TV screens

2. David Attenborough – The voice behind many a great wildlife documentary has done more for awareness of our world than even the great Bob Geldof

1. Winston Churchill – Fellow OH, war winner and the king of quotations

1. BBC – Younger Muslims ‘more political’ – not too much of a surprise here, I blame 24

2. Reuters – Newspapers lose ground in Web-savvy schools – I heard they are all reading The Rosemont Loving

3. Telegraph – Majority of under-35s can’t afford own home – I’m 26 and buggered

4. The Times – Pub law U-turn will curb opening hours – House party time returns!

5. FT – Europeans still take a dim view of the euro – Keep the pound

News came out at the end of last week that Michael Jackson will be releasing his next album via the Internet. A disgraced star he may or may not be, I will be one of the first in the “queue” to download the album. I’ve got a great feeling about it as well.
