The Loving deserves a break from the troubles of London so farewell for a week. Enjoy your break from my commentary.

So after England’s dismal performance in the Lords test, they are now 12/1 to win the Ashes, I say that is well worth a bet. After all it can’t get much worse.

Champions League:
1. Chelsea
2. Manchester United
3. Arsenal
4. Liverpool

UEFA:
5. Tottenham Hotspur
6. Middlesbrough
7. Aston Villa

Relegation:
18. West Brom
19. Sunderland
20. Wigan

Here is a letter from today’s Metro:

What is up with humans? For almost as many years as we have been on this wonderful planet, we have looked to fictitious movements and beliefs for an excuse to commit the most outrageous acts upon each other. God, Satan, Allah, Marilyn Manson. Each apparently responsible for our actions and countless deaths (some more than others, of course). Man’s true enlightenment will come when we finally realise it is us, not our ever-changing gods, that hold sole responsibility for our actions.

Congratulations people you have excelled to a new low point.

The great thing about people you are close to is that you can have a respect for one another when they express a viewpoint/conversation, can this be said for my readership? Conversations on this blog have increasingly ended in sarcasm and disrespect. Shall I continue with this blog or do you wish to ruin what I thought was a forum for polite and insightful discussion? It is in your hands, please don’t destroy it.
