I’ve noticed that every time I post a comment on my blog there is always someone who comes back with some wisecrack so here is a little tester to test my theory:

I think David Beckham is a really good role model.

Come on bring it on…

I’d thought I would start the debate on this year’s Big Brother. In previous years there were at least one or two endearing characters that I could relate to. This year there are none. Is it that I have grown up and think that I have gone beyond reality TV? Or is it that Endemol Productions have chosen simply annoying and pathetic individuals? This year’s Big Brother has everything that I hate about today’s Britain; it is over-sexed, over-camped and unbelievably stupid. It has been a long time coming but I have decided that I will no longer waste my time on such tripe. Question Time and 24 beckons.

Oh and please don’t post immature comments about me being homophobic, repressing certain feelings etc. The simple fact is that the program is a disgrace and there is no argument about it.

I’d like to congratulate Liverpool Football Club on a great result last night and Steven Gerard for finally achieving a goal that he deserves. I would like to propose a two-leg playoff between Everton and Liverpool for next season’s final Champions League place.

As you are probably aware Marks & Spencer has been in trouble for a few years now and continues to be so. I’m interested to find out the Loving readership’s opinion on the matter. What has gone wrong with Britain’s favorite high street shop? I shop there but only sometimes for underwear and food, as I have always done. Sainsburys is also heading into trouble, why is this? People are now shopping at Tesco and TK Maxx, has the nation’s obsession with chav culture gone one step too far? Has Sainsburys and M&S gone for the middle ground where it is too expensive for the working class but too cheap for the middle? Or is Tesco and the other cheapo stores simply offering products of similar quality at half the price? What do you think?

I’d like to start a new revolution, and get some charity bands made up in the colours of M&S with the writing ‘Don’t shop at Tesco, they are taking over the world’. Who is with me?

This isn’t one for you technophobes but Apple is introducing podcasts into its next version of iTunes. This is great news to anyone with an iPod as you will now be able to listen to your favourite radio shows through your machine with very little effort. Lets hope it doesn’t cost too much.
